It is 2009 and we have made some changes. We have expanded our Solar Array. See old picture and new. It was quite old and we needed new panels. The barn got a new roof, ya hoo! Some minor repair projects. This year it will be fence repairs. So although we are still in a bit of a mess, it is improving.

So if you are planning to be in the area, give us a jingle, advance notice is a must. Again this warning: We have a rough steep dirt drive up the side of the mountain. We recommend 4 wheel vehicles; you may be able make it with front wheel car with a high clearance. Not responsible for lost mufflers! Please note, our mailing address is NOT our physical address. You don’t often finds “main St” in the middle of nowhere which is where I do reside.
The best way to describe our driveway is a description I found in the Farmers Almanac this year.
“ During the month of March in these parts, the back roads enter a semi liquid state. For the rest of the year they are, variously, dusty, bumpy, snowed-under, iced-up—or several of these at once. In mud time, however, the unpaved ways hurl their crowning insult in the teeth of those who must travel them. Essentially, they dissolve.”
To read the remained of this narrative, which is filled with adjective, get out you almanac for March.
Also the property is protected by a very nasty guard dog 3 days a week, you guess which days..Call ahead. Thanks!
